I was taking a film class at the Art Institute. I brought my super-8 camera to this show at San Francisco's Bimbo's club that was in North Beach. I don't think it exists anymore. I don't hear much about The Tubes anymore but this show was great.. At one point, Fee Waybill noticed I was filming and told me to stop but then he changed his mind and let me film. This was the second cartoon I got featured on newgrounds.com back in 2004. At the time, many fans of the first one told me this was too dark and spoilt the innocence of the original, whilst others said that it was a 100% improvement. To explain why I'm uploading these old cartoons despite them already being on here: I have come to accept that Salad Fingers is always going to get uploaded to Youtube by someone so it might as well be me and it might as well be in decent quality. http://www.hho4free.com MUST READ THIS - Electrolysis of water into Hydrogen & Oxygen. Increase your MPG via the unused power of your Alternator, while you drive. These are the first hydrogen cells we made last year. We started with the Joe Cell concept and modified it for Electrolysis. The 4 parts of this video show you the inner works of the gas production. You will see, from a birds eye view, the gas being produced in a solid stainless steel container; one that can be put under a strong vaccum. At startup, notice that the gas is being produced in the center of the cell. It then starts producing in adjacent tubes as current moves towards the positive outer tube. For this to happen, your tubes need to be properly aligned North and South. That is, the tops of each tube must be magnetic North, and the bottoms must be magnetic South (the tubes contain "some" magnetism. Think of the tube as a magnet. If your alignment is off on a tube, there will be little to no gas production around that tube. You can test your tubes for N & S by putting a needle on a thread and magnetizing the tip of the needle (N or S). Hang the thread over the tube, just barely clearing the surface, and rock each end of the tube under the needle. It will start to swing as you rock. One end will swing more than the other. Mark them accordingly and put your tubes together with the like marks facing the same direction. It works. Part 2 shows more hydrogen production, and several different size cells, with different tube configurations. Please read the important details I added to the right of each video. Later, in Part 3, you will see gas being produced in a glass jar. Pay attention to what influence the magnetic field has on the hydrogen bubbles. Part 4 is about exploding a balloon filled with HHO gas (I love that part). I would like to point out that if you build your cell out of stainless steel, as we did, it will withstand Flashback explosions. Plastic can blow up. I would also like to point out another advantage of an all stainless steel unit. Electrolysis causes heat. The longer the cell runs, the hotter it gets, the hotter it gets, the more current you're going to get. Your plastic and rubber units will get soft and may explode. If your cell is under a vaccume, it will implode. However, your steel unit will take a lickin and keep on tickin. Be smart, be safe, use metal containers. If you want to control your current (amperage), and you do want to control it, use a DC volt PWM to regulate it. You can find 15 amp continuous to 80 amp continuous PWM's on ebay. They will pulse your DC voltage to the cell. The pulsing will also help regulate the heat. You want heat, but you need to control it. The PWM will help you do that. When our 12 volt DC power source is connected to the cell, the electrical pressure causes current to flow from one tube to another; negative to positive. A magnetic field is created around the tubes. You can see it drawing the tiny bubbles down towards the bottom of the cell. They then cycle back to the top, between the tubes. The outside tube has the most influence on the bubbles moving in a downward direction. The magnetic flux movement is from North to South on the outside and South to North on the inside of the tubes. Electrolysis takes place on the surface of the tubes. Therefore, surface area on the tubes plays a part in the quantity of HHO that can be produced. When DC voltage is applied to the tubes it causes a chemical reaction in the water molecules. The water molecules H+ ions become attracted to the Negative Cathode in the cell, and OH- ions become attracted to the Positive Anode. The byproduct is HH gas on the Cathode tube and O gas on the Anode tube. In other words, the release of the positive hydrogen and negative oxygen gas. If you could get down to eye level with the waters surface, you would see tiny bubbles jumping out of the water and popping. Looks similar to those caused by pouring carbonated water. The popping of the bubbles sets the gas free as it rises. The hydrogen is 14 times lighter than air. I must apologize; this cell was using electrolyes at the time. It was not straight water. Thank you aspert for asking. I must also apologize for the time it took to fill the balloon. We found a leak in the seal of our lid, when it was under pressure. We switched to a thicker O-ring and solved the problem. Part 4 of this video shows the potential power of these two gases being mixed together and ignited. What is left over after the explosion? You guessed it --- Water. You Electrolyze water, burn the gases it releases and you get your water back. Wow; you use it - and get it back. How could we ever run out of energy? This 3d cell took 25h of work. The outer (positive) tubes are 2mm thick and 42.4 mm diameter 316L stainless steel then there are 3 inner nutral tubes and the last smallest tube is 17 mm in diameter and is the negative pole and takes the electricity from the bottom up while the positive enters at the top down. I did mark the tubes with an arrow while cutting them and then assembled them with all the arrows looking upward. For lack of time I did not do any cleaning yet, I had no proper connections and I used a well water with high conductivity values and one tea spoon of backing soda for 1 gallon of water. Next thing I will do is to build a container and perfect connections and test the unit with some acceptable electrical equipment and usable indications about production and electricity consumpion

I dont' know why, but I just did, I blacked out. The next thing I knew, I was in the hospital. They said that it was over working my body and they sent me home. A couple of weeks later, I was just walking donw the stairs at my house when I felt this pain in my chest. It was bearable at first, but it kept getting worse and worse until I coudn't take it anymore. I started to walk down the stairs, when it become so intense my whole body hurt. I couldn't even breath it hurt so bad, Catelyn!" he looked up at her, and she could see his eyes filling with tears. " I screamed and grabbed my chest as my legs gave out and I fell down the stairs, rolling in circles. I don't remember much after i fell, it all went black and I never felt myself hit the ground. I just remembered no longer feeling pain as my vision grew blurrier and eventually left completly. I heard some screaming around me, but couldn't see anything. I remember opening my eyes in the hopsital, seeing Nick and my dad sitting across from me, and then blacking out again." The tears were rolling down his eyes now. Catelyn used her free hand to wipe them away. " I remember opening my eyes again, it couldn't have been more then 5 minutes later, but apparently it was... about 6 and a half weeks later. I remeber seeing a lot of white around me, and tubes...lots and lots of tubes stretching from numerous machines and ending somewhere in my body. i was scared! I was only 10! I started to pull them all out as quickly as i could, bad idea there!" he forced a small smile. " I pulled out a tube, and I felt a tug in in my throat and the air sucked out of me. I found out later I'd pulled out the breathing tube they had put in me. The nurses came at that point and reattached everything as I screamed for my mom and dad. I know when I looked at a calendar before the stair incident it said September 4th, so I was confused. The Doctor said that after I blacked out, I was rushed to the hospital and had a CT scan done. They said that as soon as they did it, I was rushed into surgery. My mom said that the surgery lasted something like 11 hours or something like that, and that they weren't sure I would make it. I made it out, but about 6 hours after the surgery they said I had fallen into a coma. And that's where I was for the next 6 weeks until I had woken up that morning. They wouldn't tell me what kind of surgery I had, but I overheard my mom talking to the doctor- heart surgery. I asked her later what happened, and she cried as she told me I had a heart defect and needed the surgery to fix it. I had to have a triple bypass because of the defect. I spent another 2 weeks in the hospital before heading home. But, about 2 years later, when I was 12, I was sent to the hospital and back into the same surgery again when I collapsed at church on Christmas Day. Same surgery, and after 5 weeks I woke up from the coma that one had put me in. The doctors did another CT scan when I woke up, and said the defect had grown into a major hole in my heart, and said I needed a heart transplant. I was put on a list and after a week sent home." he sighed when he finished and Catelyn looked up and saw his eyes glistening as a single tear fell down his cheek. She reached up to wipe it away, as she had many times during the story, and he grabbed her hand and held it to his cheek as he closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. She looked back down to his scar and traced it with her free fingers on her other hand."When did you get the transplant?" she asked softly and slowly as he rubbed her hand with his thumb. He opened his his eyes and looked down at her before answering, "I haven't yet. That's why I have to go to the hospital once a month to get a CT scan to make sure the hole doesn't get any bigger and to make sure the medication is working. They are still waiting for a donor to come along." his voice trailed off as he finished, and he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him, laying her head on his chest. She didn't know what to do or what to say, so she just layed there and closed her eyes as he stroked her hair gently. "I'm sorry." she whispered into his chest as she felt a teardrop fall into her hair. OK HEART WARMING AIN'T IT? OK ENOUGH OF THIS HAPPY STUFF!
