Has anyone else had this problem, please leave comments. I plan to return the board. The noise may be hard to hear with the fans going. Finally got around to making a video of my babies :) Well, they're not babies anymore... I've had these 12 for over a year now, though I've gotten them from all over... pet stores, reptile shows, etc. Some are different species of hissing cockroach. There are many varieties. I think that's why mine haven't bred yet. The females are pretty chill, as you can see... but the males (the ones with "horns") hiss at me and ram into my finger :) The last one I handle is my favorite, Igor. He rarely hisses at me, he's so used to being handled by me. He's my baby.

September 5, 2006. One of the cubs tried to steal meat from his mother's food bowl, so the keeper used a stick to keep him away. He wasn't too happy about that, and started hissing. The keeper threw a ball at the cubs to play with- "enrichment", or a distraction. Sorry it's so terribly edited- or the editing is nonexistent.

These are my baby Madigascan hissers that were born a few weeks ago. They all will be donated to the Audubon Zoo where I work at to be used as educational animals. The food I set in there is pear, apple, cucumber and a bowl of fish flakes with dried krill. The hissing you hear is them. Also, Venom from Spiderman sits in the tank in the background for no reason at all.

No, I was not being mean to my cat, so before you say it, I will tell you. He saw another cat from the open window and this angered him. I touched his back and he hissed at me. I thought it was funny so I am uploading it. I was not pinching or squeezing or anything else that I am sure will be said. I love my cat very much.
