The video details just how horribly KFC treats chickens—birds are so crippled that they can't even walk, live birds are forced into tanks of scalding-hot water while completely conscious and able to feel pain, and Moorefield, W.Va., slaughterhouse workers kill birds by slamming them against the wall and stomping on them.

Is it true that a Central American artist used a starving dog in an art exhibit? We are aware of this story and have asked our contacts in Central America for more information. We encourage you to learn more about our street animal welfare programs. *********************************** An "Artist" by the name of Guillermo "Habacuc" Vargas Jimenez (habacuc being his stage name) was in the Bienarte 2007 (art exhibit) in Managua, Nicaragua. He himself is from Costa Rica. There he displayed a very sick and starving stray dog. Habacuc named the dog "Natividad", (which means birth). He tied Natividad up under a sign he made on the wall entitled "Eres Lo Que Lees", "You Are What You Read". The letters were made of kibbles. Hundreds of visitors to the art exhibit passed by, a few animal lovers asked for the dog to be released but Vargas refused. Natividad died. Vargas won first prize for his display of art, which he says was to illustrate the real problem of stray dogs and to "sensitize" the people to their deaths. He has now been asked to participate in the upcoming "Bienal Centroamericana Honduras 2008", "Bienarte 2008 in Central America Honduras" that will be held in November 2008. White tigers- when those two words come to mind, many people vision a beautiful, sleek, bengal tiger, with blue eyes, and beautiful, white fur. Many also think that this animal needs to be saved from extinction. Unforunately, these lies are told too frequently, at alarming rates. Even some accredited zoos will claim that white tigers are a species, or they don't tell you all about the suffering these animals endure. White tigers are severely inbred creatures, that all come from one line of cats. There was at one point, two, but the other has died off. The white gene, which is only found in bengals, is recessive. In order to make it show, the only way to is to INBREED. There is no way around it. This is not a creature that should be saved, bred, or conserved. They are exploited by circuses, zoos, etc. And most end up with such profound deformities associated with the inevitable inbreedinfg that they are discarded, killed, or sold to some cruel place. *****PLEASE READ***** And to the people who don't think the movie has any point or meaning at all, i will now commence the 'spelling it out before your eyes'...       Horses communicate with each other using body language, yet we communicate with them using straps of leather, metal bars and force. Amongst all that there are people who have taken the body language path and made it their personal mission to learn the equine language, but some people think that is stupid and horses are animals and they have to understand our language. Little did you know from the age of two years old or whenever the horse is backed and expected to be ridden/driven whatever, she has tried to learn our language, and many grasp it. Though because the human uses punishment to the horse for a mis-understanding, that is where the problems start, the horse thinks that whenever she misunderstands, she will get punished, she she tries her best to do what she thinks is right, and then panics when she does misunderstand. When really it's not true because there is a metal bar in the way of the communication and 2 metal spikes at her sides TELLING her what to do and where to go, they never ask, they always tell, its called force, and nobody wants to be forced into things, so she takes matters into her own hooves and rebels, just like a teenager forced into doing something would do. Then you see harsher bits, more martingales and leather, more 'gadgets' and more metal hindering communication more causing the horse to misunderstand more, its all a deadly circle and in the end the horse is submissive, she had tried all she could and got nowhere. The humans tools are stronger than her. and now all she has left is her dreams. I do not expect anyone to change or 'convert' but i appreciate you taking the time to watch the movie and im asking that you look through the eyes of your horses more often and ask yourself 'is she really happy?' True equality is the ability to measure oneself against all others and see no difference where law and life are concerned. Whether or not Michael Vick is innocent or not isn't the point. The point is that NO ONE should torture Pitbulls or any other dog for the sake of profit. It doesn't matter whether you were born poor or rich, black, white, mexican or any other race. It doesn't matter whether you saw your own family do it. It's just plain wrong and the equivilant to human slavery and torture. So if you are one of those who raise dogs to fight just remember that society sees you as what you are, a slave master, slave owner. We dub you a Massa and you get all the disgust from us that goes with that name. You have betrayed every person who ever fought for equal rights, freedom, and believed in human kind and it's ability to live beyond greed, bloodlust and lust for profit. I cannot believe or accept that Dr. Martin Luther King would ever approve or support Dog Fighting or anyone who used dogs to fight for profit. I cannot believe that he would approve of this younger generation committing a federal crime just to get some cash from raising and fighting dogs like inhuman slave owners did to the black culture. It isn't difficult to change if you walk with eyes wide open. It isn't difficult to truly have equality but that comes with responsibility too. Dog fighting is not cool! Dog fighting is not a sport! Dog fighting is inhuman fun for profit at the cost of cruel torture for pleasure. I can't believe that Dr. Martin Luther King would accept dog fighting as a right or good.
