This is a fan-made video about the character Ann Bradshaw from the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray. I tried to show her character's progression through the three novels (from depression and submissiveness in AGATB to free-thinking and self-assured by the end of TSFT) and a little bit about what I think happened after The Sweet Far Thing ended as far as the new friends she's made doing the show and her relationship with Charlie. I'm not so sure how I feel about this one; I think it's kinda choppy. And the quotes are a lot faster than they seemed on my laptop (so read quickly!) But watch away and tell me what you think! I did NOT go in any particular order of the books, so the parts are just to fit the song. So just follow the song and you'll be fine. I also might post a time line later, when I have the time. I got really bored one day and decided to make a video featuring the perfect girls to fill the slots of Gemma, Felicity, Ann, and Pippa. For this I used the briliant website www.morphthing.com. MAJOR props to the creator, that is SUCH an epic website!!! Anyway, while it IS amazing, there are bound to be some mistakes because it is done automatically by computer. Please ignore floaty eyes, weird hairlines, mismatched nostrils, etc. I'd also like to say that I apologize for lack of audio, my computer decided to freak out and not let me use any music...haha. I'd recommend listening to "Good Enough" by Evanescence while watching my vid. PLEASE READ I BEG OF YOU!!! Finally, I made a video with actual movie clips!!! Thanks to LadyKate and "A Victorian Production" - You are amazing!!! I put a little twist on things here. Ann has always been treated horribly at Spence, being the scholarship student. Felicity is ruthless in her treatment of her, although Pippa thinks Ann should just be ignored. (Yes, Pip is a bet nicer in this video, though we all know she was a slight viper in the book.) The only way to escape her pain is when she sleeps, where she sees the man of her dreams. He is everything she ever wanted: gorgeous and kind, not to mention he has eyes only for her. But even in her dreams, Ann is still haunted by what can never be. Real life is sepia, dreams are in color. I know this didn't happen in the book, but this is before Gemma came to Spence, and it's fun to contemplate situations the characters were in before she came into their lives. I understand there was no teacher that hated Ann or treated her badly, but for the sake of the clips, let's just say there's an unnamed teacher that hates her. Drew Barrymore is Ann (I know, she's too pretty, but I thought Ever After fitted pretty well, thought it IS a different time period), Dougray Scott is her dream man, and the blond and brunette girls are Fee and Pip. Song is Good Enough by Evanescence. I own nothing!!!! I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I enjoyed making it!
