I have been listening to them consistently since they started, and I dare you to say that about any other group which has been around almost 30 years, and are as musically adventurous. Three musical geniuses, so attuned to each other they managed to transcend trends... one of the groundbreaking musical groups in "pop" music history.

    January 8th, 2009 at 16:50:43 Well I think it is fairer to say that the career of Enya ran parallel to that of Fraser, but they are both from the same part of the world and similar age, so it is certainly possible. I think the first thing I noticed about Heaven or Las Vegas (an album I love to bits) was the resemblance of the choruses in many songs to the chorus of Abba songs such as Dancing Queen. Liz would have grown up with this music.

In Fraser's case I would suggest certainly Abba, and possibly Cass Elliott (listen to Dedicated to the One I Love, recorded circa 1967) and possibly Enya as well in some of the CT's less mainstream work, not particularly this album though.

Click pause again, right as the clock hits 2:05, and now she is on the right side, with nice bedroom eyes. Unless our computers operate differently, I really don't know how it can be missed.
